Abby Hollis is an artist and designer based in Prairie Grove, AR. Her curiosity for textile systems has led her to become a sheep shearer, spinner, weaver, fiber artist, apparel designer, textile sustainability strategist, and craft educator. Having studied Fibers and Design for Sustainability at the Savannah College of Art and Design, she continues her education on friends' farms and in regional craft guilds. She is a co-founder of the Ozark chapter of Fibershed, a board member at Ozark Folkways, and the Product Manager and Head of Sustainability at outdoor apparel brand LIVSN Designs.

In her work, which often features fiber and found objects, Hollis highlights the history of materials and traditional ways of making from regionally available resources. Through her art and teaching, she invites others to question the ways in which objects and humans are devalued and revalued in different contexts along the modern textile value chain.
