Weaving in the Ozarks

Weaving in the Ozarks was an hands-on exploration of regional hand weaving. The workshop started with simple weaving on miniature frame looms. Laura Redford of the NWA Handweaver’s Guild gave a presentation on the history of Ozark coverlets. Following the presentation, participants got to try their hand at weaving coverlets on pre-warped floor looms in the Ozark Folkways weaving studio.
