Lulu local block party
This project was part of a mock campaign to promote sustainable practices among Lululemon customers. While the brand had explored alternative materials and production practices, the biggest impact from their clothes continued to be the way users cared for them, washing carelessly and often. A group of four, my peers and I designed an event - The Lulu Local Block Party - to encourage more responsible washing practices. The event would engage Lulu’s existing customer base and loyal community. It would push customers to adopt hand-washing as a meditative practice that can be shared as a family.
In addition to the Block Party, we developed an app - LuluLife - to help customers learn about and care for their clothes, while engaging with the local Lulu community. The app would be promoted at the Block Party and serve as a takeaway tool to extend learning opportunities.
